OBSESSED WITH SOAP OPERAS

Having moved in with my close friend I thought life would be a beautiful thing with a treasured one around. Things turned out different as it gave me a hard blow on my face; the girl Angela turned out to be a soap opera addict. Having been close in our years only high schools separated us but we finally caught up in campus. My first semester in campus had given me a nasty experience that I thought that it was not a place for me. Second semester we decided we should relocate and move in together. After moving in I discovered that my friend had a peculiar character. Angela had this obsession with movies especially soap operas and that nothing could hinder or deter her from watching the soaps not even her class assignments.  She did not even appreciate my being around and the stay was not exciting as I had thought it would be. This experience made me relate it with an article had read on effects of being engrossed in movies a lot apart from being taken by many as a leisure activity.

Soap operas can have very devastating effects one of them is wastage of time, this is because people get themselves in situations in that they cannot do their work on time and they end up rushing over things which brings about null results. For Angela she could not complete her assignments on time which made her frustrated with and she could end up submitting half haggard assignments.

Another impact is that most people tend to adopt the character traits of those acting and they end up forgetting that it was just but a movie and hence they try to compare themselves with the woman in the movie because of their personalities and some need up aping their traits. For instance, we could watch a movie and after my friend would say that she liked a certain character and even would like to behave like her. The character she was talking about had been heartbroken and she developed some anti-heartbreak that made  her  gain relieve after a short period of time. I was taken aback by this because she was not herself again; here she was trying to ape some people whom she didn’t even recognize that they were acting. This I came to concur that her decision making had been impaired and she made very irrational decisions.

Another major impacts addiction, people become so addicted in soap operas that they can vaguely differentiate between today and tomorrow. This makes them abandon things that could make them grow positively and becomes slaves of soap operas hence wasting time engrossed on T.Vs as I told you earlier Angela would boycott classes with an aim of following a certain series that had left her in suspense.

Summing up, soap operas are not good to any individual at either level it may be used for entertainment but not for educational purposes. Kids and teens watching these operas will exactly do the things they have learned from soaps later when they grown up. This is true as I came to realize that Angel’s addiction was as a result of a past

Nasty habits that individuals engage in are mostly linked to our ignorance, arrogance and less value to humans. Due to lots of traveling, one may have encountered some nasty hotel experiences that may have encountered some nasty hotel experiences that may have made one to feel resented about restaurants. There are many horrible and terrible experiences told and narrated about hotels being dirty and unfit for human stay but m encounter is a bit different and far from that. It is all about the customers and how they should behave towards their waiters in hotels.

I will share my experience; I came face to face with this encounter after one of the long vacations. I and my friends had taken a tour to one o the parks. After the visits and all we had to do at the park, we went to a popular restaurant to have our meals. We ate comfortably while chatting about the thrilling events we had at the park; in that process, a man came into the restaurant and without even locating a place to sit, he was yelling at the waiter to serve him saying that he is in a hurry and could not afford to waste his time.

Timidly, one of the waiters who were cleaning tables went to get his order and as if not enough he started questioning the waiter why they should take a very long time serving customers. The waiter had no means of defense but he found himself saying sorry to the man. After giving out his order of ‘ugali mix’ a meal not worth being rude, he started yelling again at the waiter before he even sets his foot at the counter. He accuses him of being too lazy plus the hotel management failure to control its activities.

Everyone in the restaurant was perplexed and shuddered with amazement on how that man wanted people to act like robots. Some of the customers with vigor told him that what he was doing was not fair but could not yelling and yelping. The restaurant had to come to a standstill while the managers of the hotel threw the man out of the restaurant.

I could not help figuring out about this experience as I thought the man was mad but only to realize his madness had taken another route where it happens because we are inhuman. We have lost humanity through our speech, thought and actions and we take others a trash that is why this man could not help ordering the waiter around. Really, has civilization taken root on us?

When you sign in there are tree platforms first daily diary which is public then expressive journal which is private and lastly the travel which mostly suites travelers. With all these platforms one is able to share your ideas and experiences.

One has to formulate ways in which his /her articles get a greater readership. Some of the ways include:

 sharing your articles to the social media such as twitter, google+, email and facebook, creating useful content that readers will consume and share because blogging at its core is all about offering something of value to your audience, writing advanced and popular stuff also helps in attracting high traffic in your blog by inviting people to follow you and finally writing advanced posts and speaking the language of your readers also attracts a lot of readership

people write stuff in their blogs to pass information or give ideas but there are those who do it for monetary purposes. There are several ways to monetize your blog if at all you are blogging to earn. The methods include;

Creating and selling your own product  by using the website gives you a chance to monetize your  blog,  engaging in live workshops which enables you to interact with your audience and get to know what they like about your blog,  using affiliate marketing which enables one to  offer services to website owners that pay commissions to  generate sales for them, email marketing is also another mode of marketing for bloggers as  it allows you to instantly deliver a message directly  and lastly, advertising  is also another mode of monetinezing your blog  as companies advertise through your blog and as every one   person clicks you earn a commission of about  ten percent.

Having got all these concepts on blogging one is good to go blogging either for an income or their own interests.
